A few weeks ago I attended services celebrating the life of a close friend’s mom. She was a special lady who as one speaker noted, “lived a bold and adventurous life.” Others shared stories highlighting her kindness, creativity, and laughter. Another described her as “a shooting star.”
As you plan for what you want to accomplish and the type of person you want to be in this new year, consider this perspective: start with how you would like to be remembered at the end (yes, THE END). What will those who know you say? What impact did you have on them? On strangers? What unique and interesting accomplishments and qualities of yours will be remembered and shared?
Design your new year from there. Start now. Go big. Make 2015 the year people remember you for the best in you. That’s my goal – will you join me?
